Sujin Lim
Sujin Lim was born in 1979 in Seoul, Korea. Since 2011, she has been a student in the MFA in Public Art and New Artistic Strategies at the Bauhaus University and she currently works in Germany. She travels and creates site-specific interventions that relate to socio-political issues and are accompanied by research-based video documentation. She has had two solo exhibitions in Korea, and her works have been selected for exhibitions including At the End of the World in the Marke 6. gallery at the Neues Museum in Germany and Storming Party in Art Museum in the Seoul Museum of Art. She has developed her work at the Changdong Art Studio, and the National Museum of Contemporary Art Korea and has received fellowships from I-park Artists Residency in the USA, Taipei Artist's Village in Taiwan, Villa Sträuli Winterthur in Switzerland, and the Korean Arts Council for her participation in GlogauAIR in Berlin.
