Serena Lin
Serena W. Lin cuts her teeth on monsters, myth, and magic. Her work has appeared in cream city review and Hyphen. She's a writer with the VONA, TeAda Works, and Grind writing communities and attended the Sewanee Writers' Conference. She obtained her MFA at Rutgers-Newark in 2014 as a Truman Capote Fellow in fiction. Earning her JD and undergraduate degrees at UC Berkeley, she practiced law in Los Angeles for nearly a decade as a Public Defender and then a community lawyer specializing in environmental justice, affordable housing, and civil rights.
