Melanie Westerberg
Melanie Westerberg's fiction has appeared in Best New American Voices, the Austin Chronicle, Eleven Eleven, Mid-American Review, Third Coast, and Torpedo, and she is the author of the chapbook Ripple (Awst Press, 2015) and the novella City in the River, City in the Forest (Hag's Head Press, 2010). She has been a writer-in-residence at Madroño Ranch, Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts, Jentel, and Artcroft. She holds an MFA in Writing from California College of the Arts, where she also studied weaving and textiles history. Born and raised in Iowa, she currently lives in Austin, Texas, works as a legal editor, and is feverishly revising her novel.
