Lily Hamrick
Lily Hamrick lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she writes fiction, raises her three unruly but wonderful sons, and practices law at the First District Court of Appeal in San Francisco. She has a B.A. in English from Yale, an M.A. in English from U.C. Berkeley and a J.D. from the U.C. Berkeley School of Law. Her first novel, The Secret War, was a finalist for the James Jones First Novel fellowship and her short fiction has appeared in the Southern Humanities Review. She has been an Associate Artist at The Atlantic Center for the Arts. At Kimmel Harding Nelson she will be finishing a novel, Queen of Mercy, set in the trial courts in Oakland, California. She also has a dog named Archie who loves hiking as much as she does.
