Leslie Pietrzyk
Leslie Pietrzyk is the author of two novels: "Pears on a Willow Tree" (Avon) and "A Year and a Day" (William Morrow). Her short fiction and essays have appeared in many publications, including The Washington Post Magazine, The Sun, Shenandoah, The Iowa Review, Crab Orchard Review, and River Styx, and she's the founder and editor of Redux, an online journal that publishes previously published literary work not available elsewhere online. She teaches fiction writing in the M.A. program at Johns Hopkins University and in the low-residency MFA program at Converse College. She lives in Alexandria, Virginia, and writes a literary blog: www.WorkInProgressInProgress.com.
