Lanie Gannon
Lanie Gannon is a visual artist who transforms paper and paint into dimensional structures exploring space, tension, and architectural form. Her suspended paper sculptures explore inner frameworks and support systems, drawing parallels to architectural and skeletal structures. In January 2026, her work will be exhibited at the Frist Museum of Art in Nashville, Tennessee, following her recent show “Sibling Revelry” at Zeitgeist Gallery (November 2024). Lanie will be an artist-in-residence at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts in 2025, continuing her exploration of sculptural paper installations. She has held residencies at Millay Arts (2024), La Napoule Art Foundation (2024), Byrdcliffe (2023), and The Hambidge Center (2022). A recipient of three significant fellowships, Lanie taught sculpture at Belmont University for 18 years and has created art installations for children’s hospitals and schools for three decades.
