Kira Homsher
Kira K. Homsher is a writer from Philadelphia, currently living in Los Angeles. She holds an MFA in Fiction from Virginia Tech, where she won the University Writing Program Outstanding GTA award in recognition of her teaching. Her work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, Best of the Net, Best Small Fictions, and the Shirley Jackson Awards, and she was a finalist in contests held by Kenyon Review, American Short Fiction, Shenandoah, and CRAFT. Her writing has appeared in Kenyon Review, Indiana Review, Passages North, Longreads, The Offing, and others. She is working on a novel and a short story collection. Find her at kirahomsher.com.
