Jon Volkmer
Jon Volkmer is Professor of English and Director of Creative Writing at Ursinus College in Pennsylvania. He is widely published as a poet, fiction writer, and travel writer. His books include a collection of poetry set in southeastern Nebraska, The Art of Country Grain Elevators (Bottom Dog Press), and a work of experimental travel writing, Eating Europe: A Meta-Nonfiction Love Story (Parlor Press). He happily returns to the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center to continue his research on an historical novel set in Julian, Nebraska.
