Jessamine Chan
Jessamine Chan, a native of Oak Park, Illinois, is a graduate of Columbia University's M.F.A. writing program and Brown University. At Columbia, she was awarded a teaching fellowship and served as fiction editor of Columbia: A Journal of Literature and Art. She has been awarded fellowships and residencies by the Ragdale Foundation, the Anderson Center, and Jentel, as well as a work-study scholarship from the 2013 Bread Loaf Writers' Conference. During her residency at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center, she will be working on a collection of stories. Her first published story appears in Epoch.
