Jaim Hackbart
Nebraska artist Jaim Hackbart creates expressive abstract paintings and multimedia collages in her Omaha studio. Though her contemplative abstractions often appear non-objective, they are culled directly from what she sees, hears, and senses. While at KHN, she will use her time working on larger scale paintings as well as intimate 3-D pieces.
Hackbart earned an MFA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and was awarded an artist residency at Vermont Studio Center. A regular teaching artist for Joslyn Art Museum and many other venues, she has exhibited regionally, nationally, and internationally.
