Emily Choate
Emily Choate writes fiction-feisty southern stuff, mostly. She graduated from Sarah Lawrence College's MFA Program in 2006 and has held a residency at Vermont Studio Center. She also spent an undergraduate year at Oxford's scruffy yet fabulous Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies. She has taught writing and literature courses of various size and shape, held library jobs, and now serves as Hermes-of-all-trades for the Freelance Pantheon. When not waylaid by pushy new short stories, she's currently revising her novel. An incurable Tennessean, Emily lives on the wooded outskirts of Nashville.
