Caitlin McCormack is a Philadelphia-based fiber artist who has exhibited work at Elijah Wheat Showroom, The Mütter Museum, Museum Rijswijk, Hashimoto Contemporary, Field Projects, The Jewish Museum of Milwaukee, The Taubman Museum of Art, Future
Fair, and SPRING/BREAK Art Show in NYC. Their work has appeared in The New YorkTimes, Juxtapoz, Hyperallergic, Smithsonian, The Guardian, Whitehot Magazine, FiberArt Now, Bust Magazine, and in an interview with Jim Cotter for Articulate on PBS. They
have completed artist residencies including ChaNorth, The Peter Bullough Foundation,The Wassaic Project, Byrdcliffe Artist Colony, Monson Arts, and The C-Scape DuneShack Residency in Provincetown, MA. In addition to holding teaching positions at
Hussian College of Art and Design and The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts(PAFA) in Philadelphia, McCormack received a Joseph Robert Foundation grant in 2021and the Woodmere Art Museum’s Maurice Freed Memorial Prize in 2023.
