Alex Lubischer
Alex Lubischer is a playwright who often writes about Nebraska, his home state. His latest play, Bobbie Clearly, was developed at Steep Theatre Company, Victory Gardens Theater, and Actors Theatre of Louisville and was a 2015 National Playwrights Conference Finalist. He is a semifinalist for the 2016 P73 Playwriting Fellowship and a recipient of a 2016 residency at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts. He is currently developing pig.gov, a play that explores the bizarre intersection of hog factory farming and state politics. Other plays include The Xylophone West, Acts of Contrition, Weird Kids, and Survey No. 5.
