Kathleen Scott Moore
Originally from Sioux City, Iowa, Kathleen graduated with a Masters of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Arizona State University in 2011. Since receiving her degree, she has been an Artist-in-Residence at Stonehouse Center for the Contemporary Arts, Art342, Vermillion Editions Limited, and soon at the Brush Creeks Arts Foundation. Kathleen received her BFA from the University of Iowa in 2001 and then held the Printmaking and Drawing Studio and Teaching Assistantship at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. An installation artist, Kathleen was included in the Arizona Biennial '11 at the Tucson Museum of Art and was recently a Visiting Artist at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. Utilizing printmaking, photography, fabric, found objects, and cut paper, Kathleen creates works that deal with the ideas of memory, mortality, and their intrinsic connection. She has exhibited throughout the United States and soon at the 2. International Izmir Art Biennial in Izmir, Turkey.
