Christoffer Schunk
Christoffer Schunk is a multidisciplinary composer and performance artist based in Los Angeles. His works involve voice, common and uncommon instruments, field recordings, electronics, and acting. Much of Schunk's portfolio vacillates between audio and theater, resulting in intricately staged productions and electroacoustic dramas. His pieces have been featured nationally and internationally at SEAMUS, MUSLAB, the Ars Electronica Forum Wallis Festival, Sound Thought Festival, REDCAT, Human Resources LA, and on I Care If You Listen, and have been performed by Conceptual Soundproductions Budapest, Santa Clarita Master Chorale, and the Black House Collective. Schunk holds an MFA Performer- Composer degree from the California Institute of the Arts where he studied under composers Anne LeBaron and Michael Pisaro. He earned a BA in composition from UC Santa Barbara under the direction of Jeremy Haladyna.
