Elena Kalman
Elena Kalman is a painter, sculptor and architect graduate degrees in art from the Kiev Art Institute and architecture from the Moscow Architecture Institute, the birthplace of Russian Constructivism. She is a principal of Elena Kalman Architects in Stamford, CT. Her architectural designs are infused with artistic vision and include many distinctive buildings in New York City, Connecticut and Massachusetts. They can be viewed at: www.kalmandesign.com. Her paintings and installations were featured in one-person shows at the Ukrainian Institute in Manhattan, and at other New York and Connecticut venues, including: in The Stamford Museum (Stamford, CT), at the Collaborative Concepts (Garrison, NY) and the Hammond Museum (North Salem, NY). Since 2011 Elena and her artistic partner Susan Hoffman Fishman completed nineteen installations of the interactive public art project on importance of water.
