Colleen Coyne
Colleen Coyne received her MFA from the University of Minnesota, where she also taught creative writing and literature. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Women's Studies Quarterly, Drunken Boat, dislocate, Pebble Lake Review, qarrtsiluni, What Light/mnLIT, Poetry & Popular Culture, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including an Academy of American Poets James Wright Prize, an Upper Midwest Human Rights Fellowship, and a Gesell Summer Writing Fellowship for an artist residency at the Anderson Center in Red Wing, Minnesota. At the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, Colleen will be revising her first book manuscript, a collection of poems currently titled Chorometry. Her next address will be in Atlanta, but she has also made her home in Minneapolis, Chicago, Baltimore, and northern New Jersey.
