Oren Boneh
As a composer, Oren Boneh always strives for music that engages the listener by being impassioned, intense, and thoughtful. His works have been performed and presented in various venues and concerts including the International Summer Academy of Music (Germany), the Royal Danish Academy of Music (Copenhagen), the Manhattan School of Music, the Colorado Composer's Concert and various others. In June 2012, Boneh will travel to Gotland, Sweden for a residency at the Visby International Centre for Composers. Recently, he completed a project in collaboration with the Mythos Accoridion Duo (Copenhagen) and is currently working on a piece as a commission from the Playground Ensemble. Boneh is a student at the University of Denver's Lamont School of Music pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Composition, studying with Dr. Chris Malloy and William Hill. During the fall semester of 2011, he studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Music with Hans Abrahamsen and Niels Rosing-Schow.
