Exhibition Opportunities

KHN hosts 5-7 exhibitions annually, showcasing the work of emerging and established Nebraska-based artists, regional artists, and former residents. Proposals for solo or group exhibitions are accepted on an ongoing basis. All mediums are considered.

Exhibiting artists assume responsibility and cost for transporting work to and from the center and for attending a Third Thursday/providing a gallery talk during the exhibition. The artist must assume all costs for preparing (matting, framing, etc.) their work for installation. The artist provides descriptions/labels and pricing (if works are to be available for sale); all sales inquiries will be directed to the artist.

Exhibitions run for approximately six to eight weeks, with the beginning and ending dates determined by the needs of the center.

KHN assumes responsibility and cost for promoting the exhibition and reception through printed flyers and postcards, website listings, social media postings, and press release distribution to regional media outlets.

If you are interested in showing your work or proposing an exhibition for 2026 or beyond, send a current resume/cv, sample images of the work or type of work you are interested in exhibiting, and a brief proposal or artist statement to Amy Smith, Executive Director.
