Aaron Holz has exhibited work in New York and throughout the United States. His work has been exhibited internationally in London, UK, Basel, Switzerland, and Mexico. Reviews of his work have appeared in New York Arts Magazine, The Lincoln Journal Star, The New York Sun and The New York Times. He was included in “100 Painters of Tomorrow” published by Thames and Hudson in 2014. In addition to prominent private collections in both Europe and the United States, his work is included in the permanent collections of the Sheldon Museum of Art, The Blanden Memorial Art Museum, The University Art Museum at Albany, The Rourke Art Museum, The Museum of Nebraska Art and Nebraska Wesleyan University. Holz is a Professor in the School of Art, Art History & Design.  He has received multiple teaching and research awards including the College Distinguished Teaching Award within the College of Fine and Performing Arts, the Harold & Esther Edgerton award as well as a Nebraska Arts Council Distinguished Artist Award.
