Tara Gereaux has an MFA in creative writing from UBC, and has worked as a writer and story editor in film and television. An episode she co-wrote for CBC's Edgemont was nominated for a Leo Award. Her writing has also appeared several Canadian literary magazines, and she won Event's 14th Annual Creative Non-Fiction Competition, as well as several other screenwriting and non-fiction awards. Her first teen novel, Size of a Fist, was published by Thistledown Press and was nominated for two 2016 Saskatchewan Book Awards. The manuscript for her next novel won the 2016 City of Regina Writing Award. She is a Métis from the Qu'Appelle Valley, and currently resides in Regina.

She is the recipient of two Rasmuson Foundation Individual Artist grants, an Alaska Council of the Arts fellowship and residencies at Hedgebrook and Hidden River Arts. She is a former Memoir Inc. Grand Prize and Brenda Ueland Prose Prize winner and Pushcart Prize nominee. She lives and runs marathons and mountain races in Anchorage, Alaska.

Young-jin Jeon is a Korean composer, pianist, and organist, currently living and working in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. While she has been in Korea and USA, she has won prizes and received recognition from the competitions, such as Youth Dong-A Newspaper Children's Song, the Gang-Won Art Song, the Pusan Percussion Ensemble, the Southeastern Composers League, the Frederic Goossen, and IAWM 2014 Annual Concert Call for Works. Her works have performed throughout the world, including Oregon Bach Festival Composers Symposium, UPBEAT Summer Music Festival, Nief- Norf Summer Music Festival, Wintergreen Summer Music Festival, Czech-American Summer Music Institute, Alabama Contemporary Ensemble, Ohio State Composers' Workshop, Young-San Art Hall Young Composers Festival, and etc. She holds degrees from the University of Alabama (DMA in music composition and theory with secondary concentration in musicology), Ohio State University (MM in music composition), and Ewha Womans University (BM in music composition).

Canadian artist Wendy DesChene graduated with an MFA in from Tyler School of Art. Weary of limitations placed on art by institutions, she began to incorporate the audience into her installations and address her activist concepts. The resulting community collaborative exhibition "WYSIWYG", toured to 11 different communities, including the Art League of Houston, Minnesota State University, the Art Academy of Cincinnati, and The Henry Street Settlement in NY. Other collaborative-based projects have exhibited at the Soap Factory, and Tomio Koyama Gallery, Japan. She was awarded a State Art Fellowship and a Canada Council Grant. Her recent collaborative work "Monsantra", has been display at the Carnegie Museum of Art, The Goethe Institute Egypt, McColl Center, and the New Gallery Canada. She has been invited as a visiting resident artist to: The American Academy in Rome, Jentel, The Atlantic Arts Center, I-Park, Pouch Cove Canada and the Hafnarborg Art Museum Iceland.

Jeff Schmuki was born in Phoenix, Arizona. Most recently, Schmuki has completed projects at the American Academy of Rome, Seoul Art Space Geumcheon in South Korea, and the Goethe Institute of Cairo, Egypt. Schmuki's work has also exhibited in many group exhibitions including, "Terra-Cotta, Primitive Future" (2011) at the Clayarch Museum in Gimhae, South Korea; "Lift Off: Earthlings and the Great Beyond" (2011) in the Paul Robeson Galleries at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey; "Work Makes the Work" (2011) in the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln; and "The Edge of the Universe" (2010) at the Shepparton Art Gallery in Victoria, Australia. His work can be found in collections of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., Incheon World Ceramic Center in Incheon, South Korea, and the Museo Internazionale delle Ceramiche in Faenza, Italia. Schmuki is the recipient of grants from the Pollock-Krasner (2007) and Joan Mitchell (2006) Foundations and is co-founder of PlantBot Genetics, a collaboration with artist Wendy DesChene.

Daniel Schnee is a Canadian composer whose work is a mixture of composition, improvisation, and abstract notation consisting of original script, Japanese kanji characters, and numerical code. He has also worked internationally as a saxophone/percussion accompanist to 20 different Juno and Grammy™ Award winning artists, and is a former student of jazz legend Ornette Coleman - recipient of the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for Music.

He holds a Jazz Performance diploma from Grant MacEwan University, a Graduate Diploma in Asian Studies from York University, and degrees in music from University of Saskatchewan (B. Mus. Ed), the University of Alberta (M.A. Ethnomusicology), and York University (PhD. Ethnomusicology).

His work has been performed and/or exhibited at the Shōzō Shimamoto Gallery in Takarazuka (Japan), TEDx Yorku (Toronto) the Chelsea Art Museum (New York), The Museum of the Moving Image (New York), and the Theocharakis Foundation Hall (Athens, Greece) among other places.

Kieran Carroll has had thirteen plays produced in Australia. Four of these have appeared at La Mama Theatre, Melbourne and three at The Old Fitzroy Theatre, Sydney. Recent plays include "A Fitzroy Romance" (La Mama Courthouse, Melbourne, May '11), "The Giraffe's Uncle - The Les Robinson Story" - (Newtown Theatre, Sydney, Nov '11), "3XY OR I DIE!" (Old Fitzroy Theatre, Sydney, June '12) and "Sons of Sun - The Sam Phillips Story" - (Sandringham Hotel, Sydney Fringe, Sept '12) Of recent works, "The Giraffe's Uncle" was accepted as part of the Australian National Script Centre Collection and will have a season at La Mama in Jan 2013. A Fitzroy Romance was shortlisted for Playwriting Australia's National Script Workshop 2010. Kieran holds an MA (by Research) in Playwriting from QUT Brisbane. Petar Jovanov was born in the city of Bitola in Macedonia, and migrated to Sydney Australia at the age of seven. At eleven years of age he developed a passionate interest in music and learnt to play the piano and clarinet, upon which he started taking music lessons and was classically trained on the piano. During his secondary education he studied music and discovered that he had a strong desire towards composition. In 2005 he continued with his music studies at the University of Western Sydney (UWS) Australia, where by he graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Music honours degree. In 2013 Jovanov represented Australia with his composition Strange Ways (2013) as young composer at the 31st Asian Composers League Festival which was held in Singapore. Also in 2013 he composed an original filmscore for the short film The Water Vessel (dir. Iqbal Barkat, 2013). This film was an official selection for the 2014 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival. In 2014 Jovanov completed his post-graduate degree (Doctor of Creative Arts) at UWS under the guidance of his supervisors Dr. Bruce Crossman and Dr. Ian Stevenson. His postgraduate research focuses on a Macedonian-Australian compositional voice through a juxtaposition of traditional Hollywood film music conventions and Macedonian Folk music techniques.

Kristin Bauer is a multimedia artist based out of Phoenix, AZ. She has a BFA from Arizona State University (2004) and her Masters in Expressive Arts Therapy from Ottawa University (2010). Kristin has a professional background in art consulting, curatorial work, arts education and Art Therapy, and is a mother of two daughters. In 2010 she opened Squeeze Gallery, a pop-up gallery on Marshall Way with her creative partner and husband Emmett Potter. The gallery ran for a full fall and spring season. Kristin currently is a fulltime artist. Her work incorporates text and image in sculptural works, paintings and multimedia installations. Kristin has exhibited in and curated many shows in Phoenix and Scottsdale, AZ, and is included in the permanent collection at Mesa Contemporary Arts. She has also been a guest speaker at Phoenix Art Museum, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and Arizona State University.

Originally from Sioux City, Iowa, Kathleen graduated with a Masters of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Arizona State University in 2011. Since receiving her degree, she has been an Artist-in-Residence at Stonehouse Center for the Contemporary Arts, Art342, Vermillion Editions Limited, and soon at the Brush Creeks Arts Foundation. Kathleen received her BFA from the University of Iowa in 2001 and then held the Printmaking and Drawing Studio and Teaching Assistantship at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. An installation artist, Kathleen was included in the Arizona Biennial '11 at the Tucson Museum of Art and was recently a Visiting Artist at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. Utilizing printmaking, photography, fabric, found objects, and cut paper, Kathleen creates works that deal with the ideas of memory, mortality, and their intrinsic connection. She has exhibited throughout the United States and soon at the 2. International Izmir Art Biennial in Izmir, Turkey.

Laura C. J. Owen was born in England, grew up in Arizona, and came to Minnesota for school. She has a B.A. from Carleton College in English and Theater, and an M.F.A. in Fiction from the University of Minnesota, where she was fiction editor of Dislocate, the University's literary magazine. She has received the University of Minnesota's Gesell award for fiction and a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. Adam Hill is a composer and bassist who lives in a decommissioned ranger station on Harrison Lake, British Columbia. A recipient of awards and grants from the Canada Council for the Arts, FACTOR, SCI/ASCAP, the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation, and Wildacres, he has had his music presented by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, musica intima, and the Elektra Women's Choir. Additionally, he has been commissioned by Erato Ensemble, the Vancouver Chinese Music Ensemble, the Whatcom Symphony Orchestra, and the Singers' Club of Cleveland. Adam is also a performer in several genres who has appeared at the Sisters Jazz Festival, the River City Bluegrass Festival, and Electronic Music Midwest, and with the Walla Walla Symphony and the Obsidian Opera Chamber Orchestra. He has released four albums of folk music and has appeared on recordings by several rock and roll, bluegrass, and jazz groups. Adam has taught at Western Washington University and Quest University.

Jennifer Steil is an award-winning author and journalist. Her debut novel, The Ambassador's Wife, published by Doubleday in July 2015, won the 2013 William Faulkner-William Wisdom Creative Writing Competition Best Novel award and was shortlisted for both the Bisexual Book Award and the Lascaux Novel Prize. It has received considerable critical acclaim, notably in the Seattle Times, Publishers Weekly, and The New York Times Book Review. Jennifer's first book, The Woman Who Fell From the Sky (Broadway Books, 2010) is a memoir about her tenure as editor of the Yemen Observer newspaper in Sana'a.
